About the client:

ACTS is a growing tech company in Curaçao that works for local governments in the Dutch Antilles. They design, develop and maintain government applications in the legal, justice, finance and other departments for the islands.

Since a few years they have been working with teams from Colombia, since the island does not have sufficient qualified people to join the growing company. In the last two years Conexión has been hiring developers and system administrators for ACTS. Instead of working with Colombian tech companies to outsource their work, they changed their approach and are hiring their own team in Colombia.Currently they have 5 people in Colombia.

ACTS has a legal entity in Colombia and provides a local payroll, including the local benefits (health, pension, vacation, prima, cesantias etc).

In some situations, employees in Colombia are asked to visit the island for a week or more. This is to get familiar with the way of working and the team or maybe clients. ACTS takes care of all the cost regarding these trips.

We seek a skilled and passionate Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our dynamic international development team.

As a Full Stack.NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements and drive business success. In this role you have responsibilities in further developing our development team, act as a coach and lead certain development projects. You are one of the driving forces in the team to make sure we meet client deadlines with the highest possible quality.

An experienced .NET developer who can take full ownership over one or more key applications of the company.

Responsibilities:

-       Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate project requirements into technical specifications.

-       Design, develop, and implement web applications using theMicrosoft .NET framework.

-       Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C# andJavaScript.

-       Create and consume RESTful APIs to integrate withthird-party services.

-       Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfacesusing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

-       Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting toensure application functionality and performance.

-       Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive andvisually appealing interfaces.

-       Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of thedeveloped applications.

-       Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends andtechnologies related to full-stack web development.

-       Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, andcontinuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

Requirements:

-       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

-       Proven experience as a senior Full Stack .NET Developer, preferably with architecture, design patterns and or lead responsabilities.

-       Strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies like .NetFramework, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

-       Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML,CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).

-       Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server orMySQL.

-       Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

-       Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.

-       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

-       Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

-       Self-starter and independent developer does not require a lot of oversight.

-       Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

-       No 9-5 mentality, the projects are with the local government and meeting timelines is critical

-       Flexible work mentality, should be able to switch projects easily when the business requires this

-       English is important since this is a senior role and therefor dealing with clients and co workers that speak English.
